FPSC Test Guide 2024

  • Candidates may need to participate in an examination, screening test, or professional test.
  • Eligibility will be determined based on Recruitment Rules and advertised conditions after the conduct of screening, professional, or descriptive examination.
  • Ineligible applications will be rejected after detailed scrutiny, regardless of participation or qualification in the examination/test. Rejected candidates will be notified, outlining the reasons for their ineligibility.
  • The Commission’s Committee will hear representations from rejected candidates. Applicants should ensure their eligibility before appearing for the examination/test.
  • The Commission may publish syllabi on its website before the screening (MCQ) test/written (descriptive) examination. Candidates are advised to check the FPSC website regularly for updates and to print the Admission Certificate for their applied post.
  • The examination/test will be conducted in English unless specified otherwise.
  • Failure to appear in the MCQ test/descriptive examination on the scheduled date will not result in a separate examination for the candidate.
  • OMR Answer Sheets/Answer Books will be retained in the FPSC office for one year before destruction.
  • Requests for re-checking/re-counting of marks will not be entertained.
  • Disabled candidates (visually impaired, physically impaired, hearing/speech impaired) can request assistance, such as a writer, in their Application Form.
  • Visually impaired candidates will be allowed an extra 15 minutes per hour.
  • Disabled candidates requiring computer assistance will appear at the Islamabad Centre only.
  • Bringing mobile phones or similar devices into the Examination Hall is strictly prohibited, and FPSC is not responsible for their security or loss.
  • Change of center is allowed with the condition that the online request reaches FPSC at least 30 days before the exam/test. No change of center is permitted after the cutoff date.
  • In emergency cases, especially for females and persons with disabilities, a change of center is allowed 15 days before the examination with proof of disabilities. Candidates in such cases should submit a written request for this special dispensation.
